How Speed Dating Works

Speed dating is a fun, fast and effective way to meet a large number of like minded singles in your area but you might be wondering how a speed dating event works. In this article you will find out exactly what speed dating is and what you can expect when you attend one of our events.

Speed dating is a matchmaking event where you meet a large number of single people and spend approximately 6 to 8 minutes getting to know each other in what is called a mini date.

Once 8 minutes has gone by, the host will ring a bell to advise you to move on to your next mini date.

Every single who attends the event is given a card. before you start a mini-date, you both introduce yourselves to each other and then write down the name of your date on your card. Once the bell rings and your date has ended, you will tick whether you would like to see that person again or not.

The process repeats itself until you have eventually met 8 to 12 singles. At the end of your date you will hand in your card to your host who will then look at all the cards and inform you of mutual matches within a day or two. The host will email you the contact details for all your mutual matches and from then on its all in your hands.

If you have never been to one of our events, you can attend your first event for FREE!
